It should disgust every tax paying American that our elected officials refuse to acknowledge their wasteful ways. Pork-barrel spending is a massive problem within our government and it should infuriate everyone that our own elected officials won't sign off on this. The worst part of it is that since nearly every politician has their fair share of pork projects, no one will rally against those who are the worst offenders for fear of not getting their own pork projects across. Pork is arguably the most visible example of how corrupt our system can be.
